PARTIAL REELS: $ 6.00 is the minimum price and Partial reel Transfer Prices are based on the
actual amount of film on the reel in 50 foot increments. For example, the transfer price for a 400'
reel with only 300' (or less) of film on it will be $ 36.00 instead of $48.00 and a 400' reel with
only 350 feet (or less) of film on it will be $42.00 instead of $48.00.
Copies of Digital (AVI) Files:
All Home Movies are transferred to the computer as AVI Video Files (and WAV Sound Files for
sound movies) which are then improved by removing gaps, enhancing image quality & color and by
placing a title at the beginning and a fade at the end of each reel. The resulting AVI video is
used to create the finished DVD Disk - which is not able to be edited further. For those of
you who wish to do your own editing on your equipment, these (EDITABLE) AVI files can be
transferred to DVD disks for that purpose. Of course, AVI Files require lots of memory and,
for that reason, will require that only about 15 minutes of video can be place on the normal 4.7
GB DVD Disk that the owner can place into his DVD ROM Drive at home.
